The dot Architect (DA) platform offered by Akenova is built off a popular open-source e-commerce application. This essentially means that in addition to Akenova’s efforts to improve the platform – a community of developers around the world are also committed to working to enhance its features. The DA platform is feature rich and offers a high degree of flexibility allowing users to completely customize their sites. Akenova will work with external vendors to develop a completely customized store front for clients. Alternatively, we offer client’s a selection of pre-existing templates to choose from in the event that they would like to be up & running in the shortest possible time frame; typically a week from the kick-off meeting.

Some of the many functionalities that can be expected from the DA platform include:
- Fully automated product catalog management
- Dynamic generation of informational pages using the integrated CMS
- One page checkout with SSL Support 1
- Cross-selling capabilities on product details pages
- Promotional coupon generation
- Customer/ Prospect database auto generation

1 SSL support requires purchase of an SSL certificate from an internet security vendor or use of an reputable payment gateway such as Paypal who covers participating merchants under their certification.
